Type, designation and standard
Description of the purpose and usage properties
The cable has such characteristics as weather-resistance, abrasion-resistance, high mechanical stress, and low line loss. The cable is widely used in the construction and renovation of electrical power network of rated voltage up to and including 35kV, highly enhancing the safety and reliability of power network.
The maximum permitted long-term operating temperature of PVC or PE insulated cable shall be 70℃, and 90℃ for XLPE insulated cable. The maximum short-circuit (within 5 seconds) temperature of PVC insulated cable shall be 160℃, 130℃ for PE insulated cable, and 250℃ for XLPE insulated cable.
The ambient temperature of installation of the cable shall not be less than -20℃.
The permitted bending radius of the 0.6/1kV cable with the outer diameter less than 25mm shall be 4 times of outer diameter of the cable, and 6 times for the 0.6/1kV cable with outer diameter not less than 25mm. For the 10kV and 35kV cable, the permitted bending radius of multi-core cable shall not be less than 15 times of the sum of the outer diameter and conductor diameter of the cable, and 20 times for single core cable.
Production scope
Note: “K” stands for load-bearing stranded conductor which construction shall be decided in accordance with
the requirement of engineering design.
Delivery
The delivery length of the cable shall not be less than 100 meters. The short end not less than 20 meters shall be permitted in delivery.
Any delivery length shall be permitted in accordance with the mutual agreement of the purchaser and the manufacturer.
